Is there a cleaner that's supposed to clean the "Recently Used Documents" folder in Windows XP? I would have thought the Windows Explorer cleaner would but it doesn't.
The directory is: C:\Documents and Settings\\Recent
Thanks

Hello,
I noticed that after BleachBit was introduced in my system (Ubuntu), my installed applications simply stopped to use the "tmp" directory. Before BleachBit I used to play flash video files, all browsers, and see the temporary file being stored at "tmp" folder, now it does not happens. And, of course, all the other applications that used to create temporary files in the temp folder are simply not doing that anymore.

Recently tried using BleachBit 0.8.7 Portable (PortableApps & BleachBit versions)
I installed BleachBit 0.8.7 on my USB Flash. I attempted to start BleachBit, the PortableApps Dev splash screen appeared and then I was given this error:

'G\XMAIN\PortableApps\BleachBit\BleachBit.exe.log' for details

I wanted to vacuum my Firefox sqlite databases. However, BleachBit vacuumed the default profile which I do not not use..
How do I set the path to the profile that I want to vacuum (it is not in the default directory or even on my C drive)?
p.s. I am using BleachBit v.0.8.7 and WIN 7 - 64 bit, in case that is relevant

Hello. I am coding some windows based software that has a need to defeat the evercookie. I would like to use BleachBit to accomplish this via the command line. What would be the proper command to run to get rid of the evercookies but NOTHING else?
Also, BleachBit requires many files to run. Is it possible to somehow package all of BleachBit into 1 executable file? This would be better for including BleachBit in my software. Thank you.

Firefox 3.6.x in Ubuntu 10.04 as an example:
These files "could" also have recent data, correct? They will be auto regenerated if deleted.
content-prefs.sqlite
cookies.sqlite
cookies-journal.sqlite
downloads.sqlite
formhistory.sqlite
premissions.sqlite
places.sqlite - the offending one.*
places.sqlite-journal
search.sqlite
signons.sqlite
urlclassifier3.sqlite
webappsstore.sqlite

Ubunti 10.04.01. Run BB as admin, then check on main upper toolbar "Places > Recent Documents" - they are still there.
No biggie, but kinda-sorta a real obvious one for clearing... :)
Thanks for the excellent work!!!!!
