Windows 7

I'm currently using some encryption solution to keep some of my sensitive business documents (in the form of images, videos, and DOCX files) always encrypted, but due to some worries that FDE (full disk encryption) may somehow potentially have the risk of corruption and/or data loss, I choose not to apply FDE.

In the Windows version, it is never cleaned completely. By chance, I clicked to clean twice in succession and there is always some +50mb is left over. This size always remains on any subsequent cleaning

Running Win7 64, have suddenly started getting an 'errors occurred' errror on startup, which then fails. The log records this:

None of the Thunderbird cleaning options are selected, but each time I run BB 1.6, Thunderbird default status is eliminated and the TB message telling me so pops up. By the way, TB is the only installed email client I have.

Perhaps you might be able to clue me in as to which Windows System option should not be checked?

I am using BB 1.4 in Windows 7 Ultimate and there is a single object (file?) which generates an error.

I have a question regarding BleachBit (Ver. 0.9.5) for windows 7.
I see two error message (in red color) whenever I run the BleachBit (0.9.5) for windows 7.
Would you tell me what that means and how to fix this problem?

I have tried to update to 0.9.5beta2 but cannot. I did what the instructions told and went to preferences and check all boxes including download updates. I am new to this so I think I am doing everything right and I want to help but how do I upgrade to 9.5 beta2? It tells me to update but never does, am I doing something wrong. I am using windows 7

Can Bleach Bit be set to clear the recent documents list in Open Office? recent

I recently used bleachbit 0.8.8 on my Windows 7 (x64 Ultimate) laptop with the option to remove recently used items selected. After the run, my recently used programs list in the "Start" menu was blank as expected. But as I used my computer over the next several days the list continued to either remain empty or only show one program.

I did extensive web searches about this kind of problem and tried all of them without any success (disable then enable, change number of items to save, remove NoRecentDocsMenu key in regedit, reboot, reboot again, etc.)
