While wiping free space, when the warning from 10.04 appears that disk is almost full, bleachbit will stop at 2 minutes left. Version in the Lucid repos will finish wiping after warning appears. Possible workaround: check box "do not show message again" when warning appears (have not attempted it yet).

As much as it seems counterproductive (well it did work for GM - for a while) to release a new version on a schedule, and yes, many of the "new versions" will just be bugfixes with a new number, how is this going to affect BleachBit?
In a few weeks , the MoFo folks are going to EOL Firefox 3.1 (they have already done this to FF4) and we all will be forced into FF5+.
(Or, maybe not... https://wiki.mozilla.org/WeeklyUpdates/2011-07-11#Firefox_Current_.283.6... )
So for now, what is the current tested compatibility of BleachBit with FF5 and beyond?

I'm running Bleachbit 0.8.8 and whenever I do a wipe it is also wipining my Google Chrome Extension Data.... For instance my LastPass gets wiped out and so does my WiseStamp extension (For Gmail Signatures)
I though Bleachbit avoided nuking preferences for extensions?

Running Gnome 3 as my DE in Arch Linux-- anyway, Bleachbit does not remove the items that are in the "Recent Items" history for Gnome 3.
You might want to add functionality to delete these items... my suggestion is running something like:
$rm ~/.local/share/recently-used.xbel

Running Ubuntu 10.04. Bleachbit won't empty trash. I also tried to "shred files" but I'm unable to navigate to the Trash folder. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

When trying to run Bleachbit 0.8.8 as root (su-to-root -X -c bleachbit), it'll start and then give me this error when I go to delete: E: Unmet dependencies. Try using -f. What dependencies aren't being met, and how do I fix them? It works great with Linux Mint 10, and all the Ubuntus I've use up to, and including, 10.10.
Any help would be appreciated.
