Since upgrading to TB5, have been getting error messages that thunderbird/user/cache is not empty. Latest version of bleachbit for 10.04. Will post again if issue goes away.
Same problem since updating to Thunderbird 5 with PCLOS Gnome 2010.07, Bleachbit 0.8.8
[Errno 39] Directory not empty: '/home/*****/.thunderbird/jfchicv9.default/Cache/B'
[Errno 39] Directory not empty: '/home/*****/.thunderbird/jfchicv9.default/Cache/9'
I confirm: BleachBit 0.8.8 works with Thunderbird 3 but not 5 because TB changed the directory cache structure from flat to hierarchical. The error is mostly harmless, but there is a patch and the fix will be in the next release. Thank you all (especially for the good details)
I have not been able to reproduce the "directory is not empty" though several users have reported it with Thunderbird. It is basically harmless, so now the error is ignored. Please test BleachBit 0.9.3 beta which has this change
