0.8.3 grinds to a halt when vacuuming Media Player (or possibly immediately after?) with last two reported items being MRUFileList and MRUUrlList.
0.8.2 - no such difficulty.

Both in preview and delete modes this happens while vacuuming Chromium (chromium-browser). Bleachbit hangs with "TypeError: run_deep_scan() takes no arguments (1 given)". [p.s. I am running LinuxMint 9 "Isadora"-LXDE, mostly based on Lubuntu 10.04 "Lucid".]

Hi, I am trying to install bleachbit in RHEL4. It is asking for a whole lot of other upgrades - pygtk2-2.6, python update etc etc.. Problem is all those are not available for RHEL4. And Tryign to build each one from the source is becomign a never ending story. (I am a noobie in linux). So, here's my query.. Is bleachbit supported for RHEL4? Or should i just give up? Thanks a lot.

I keep getting: (5, 'MoveFileEx', 'Access is denied.')
I have full Admin rights, this error message (159 times) only started appearing after Bleachbit last upgraded.
Any ideas as to why?

In the past Bleachbit has worked wonderfully. Now it won't get past a certain point. Can you give me some suggestions? I have removed it and downloaded it more than once to see if that would work. Nope!

The cache is empty but I receive about one hundred error messages like this.

[Errno 21] Is a directory: '/home/steve/.cache/ /Q'
[Errno 21] Is a directory: '/home/steve/.cache/A'

hi, read the help and forums - i am simply looking to run bleachbit from a batch file. i want to to delete evereything that i have selected in the gui. ccleaner does this by

"C:\Program Files\CCleaner\ccleaner.exe" /AUTO

is their a similar switch? or how would i do it?

I just upgraded Bleachbit to 0.8.2 and added the bonus pack as well.

I ran it.

I have two problems now, which I assume arise from Bleachbit, since I've made no other changes:

1. the Trash icon on the desktop shows that it has contents, though it's empty.

2. my Firefox bookmarks were deleted, though I clicked "Cancel" when told that ticking "Places" would do that.

I can live with these things, so this is really more a report of potential bugs than anything else. However, if they are a result of the new Bleachbit and can be fixed, that'd be very nice.

So, how can I fix that? It's happening everytime I run the program.
