Ubuntu 10.04: Trash desktop icon; Firefox bookmarks
I just upgraded Bleachbit to 0.8.2 and added the bonus pack as well.
I ran it.
I have two problems now, which I assume arise from Bleachbit, since I've made no other changes:
1. the Trash icon on the desktop shows that it has contents, though it's empty.
2. my Firefox bookmarks were deleted, though I clicked "Cancel" when told that ticking "Places" would do that.
I can live with these things, so this is really more a report of potential bugs than anything else. However, if they are a result of the new Bleachbit and can be fixed, that'd be very nice.

Apologies. It wasn't my
Apologies.
It wasn't my bookmarks that went; it was my saved passwords. That's never happened to me when using earlier versions of Bleachbit.

Trash and Firefox
Maybe GNOME is not smart enough to monitor the trash contents and update the desktop icon? BleachBit cannot fix that: that would be up to GNOME to fix (or KDE, if you use KDE).
Did you check the box Firefox - Passwords?
