★ What is BleachBit? ★
Hi!!! My name is Andrew and this is the OFFICIAL home of BleachBit, a FREE program I am writing that cleans your hard drive and guards your privacy. My 2.1 GB drive was 97% full and Windows 95 kept yelling at me, so I wrote this. It deletes the junk: browser cache, cookies, temp files, and those weird FILE0001.CHK things ScanDisk leaves everywhere.

★ Features ★
- » Netscape Navigator 3.0: wipes cache, cookies, and history. Also deletes those 40 MB of GIFs you downloaded from newsgroups.
- » Internet Explorer 4.0: cleans Temporary Internet Files. (IE4 came out LAST MONTH and it is ALREADY messy.)
- » Windows 95: empties C:\WINDOWS\TEMP, the Recycle Bin, and ScanDisk orphan files (*.chk).
- » File shredder: overwrites files 3 times, DoD-style. Your nosy roommate will find NOTHING.
- » Linux support: tested on Red Hat 4.2, kernel 2.0. Cleans ~/.netscape!
- » Command line: put it in your AUTOEXEC.BAT and feel like a hacker.
COMING SOON: Windows NT 4.0 support, and a version for that "GNOME" thing everybody on the mailing lists keeps talking about.
