Hi.
Regarding Bleachbit Debian 0.7.4 , 64 bit;
I can't find a way to delete the Debian Testing Gnome Menu: "Places > Recent Documents".
Is this possible ?
Thank you.

Hi.
Bleachbit does 'not' have a whitelist feature to prevent deletion of incorrectly determined 'rotated logs'.
Can I alter the Cleaner.py and/or the Unix.py to 'exclude' or 'whitelist' the log that Bleachbit is
accidentally delting?
/var/log/paco/paco-2.0.7
Thank you.

this morning my hard drive was 53% full. now it is 93% full. this happened when I ran bleachbit set to wipe free space. It didn't quite finish wiping before I closed it because it was taking too long to finish. How can I clear the excess data?

I've been having problems with Bleach Bit recently. If I run it as the root user (administrator), it gets "stuck" (will not complete) if I have a check mark by everything EXCEPT for "Memory". Even if I uncheck the items listed under "Deep Scan", it still gets "stuck" (will not complete). It always seems to do this at the point where it lists "Clipboard 0" in the main screen.

I have Pclinux installed and I'm using synaptic to install Bleachbit. I don't know how to import gtk. I've included the error message. Any help would be appreciated!
Error Message: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/bleachbit", line 41, in
import gtk
ImportError: No module named gtk

I'm not seeing it--is there a way to get BleachBit to clean VLC's history? I'm running Linux.

On Windows XP BleachBit works for me, but the --list function does not display anything. Where can I find the supported command line values? For example: --delete firefox.cache works, but I get an error with --delete internetexplorer.cache

If I attempt to run BleachBit as a regular user, this is the result:
[steve@localhost ~]$ bleachbit
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/bleachbit", line 41, in
import gtk
ImportError: No module named gtk
[steve@localhost ~]$
If I run as "root", then BleachBit starts and operates fine.
I am running Fedora 12 (fully updated) and I got BleachBit from Fedora's Yum repository:
bleachbit-0.6.4-1.fc12.noarch
As an experiment, I will try compiling and running from a source tarball, as well as SVN.

Hi.
Bleachbit 0.7.2 compiles well on my ArchLinux 64bit Gnome system without problems.
1. Which directory is best to move the folder (bleachbit-0.7.2) after building ?
a. /opt/bleachbit-0.7.2
b. /usr/local/bleachbit-0.7.2
I'm not certain but isn't the correct folder to move: /bleachbit-0.7.2/bleachbit ?
Also, I is there any functional difference between running
'python bleachbit.py' or 'python GUI.py'
Thank you.
