Can I delete Debian Gnome "Places > Recent Documents" ?

Forums:

Hi.

Regarding Bleachbit Debian 0.7.4 , 64 bit;

I can't find a way to delete the Debian Testing Gnome Menu: "Places > Recent Documents".
Is this possible ?

Thank you.

Is this GNOME 2.30? I see the same in Ubuntu Lucid Lynx (10.04). Last year I put in a workaround for GNOME 2.26 because BleachBit correctly deletes ~/.recently-used.xbel, but the GNOME panel doesn't re-read the file. For GNOME 2.26, BleachBit truncates the file (instead of just deleting it), but that no longer works in GNOME 2.30. I'll see what else I can come up with.

Download these two files and replace the files of the same names

http://bleachbit.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/bleachbit/trunk/bleachbit/Cl...

IIRC, these files go here
/usr/share/bleachbit/bleachbit/

The enhancement is released in BleachBit 0.8.0
