So, I've ran BleachBit on my Pi and choosed "Free memory". Now my /dev/root patrion is 100% used and I cannot even start lxde and unselect this option. And bleachbit_cli is also not working for me. Please help.

No doubt I'm doing something dumb (newbie alert) - but I've just loaded Bleachbit and ticked lots of things to clean: some of them clean up just fine (e.g. Recycle Bin empties OK, C:/....AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.MSO\ empties OK
etc)
but others such as browsers (Opera, IE11) retain URL history and Adobe Reader still shows Recent Files.
Yes, I'm closing down all these applications when running BleachBit. I guess I must be following the basic process OK because Recycle Bin and others are emptied by BleachBit.

Hello,
I sucessfully installed python in my KVM CentOS 6.6 server and downloaded and installed BleachBit1.6-1.1. Below you can see the steps I performed. However, when I try to run BleachBit it will not do it and display the error message "RuntimeError: could not open display". Any advice on how to solve this is welcome!
Thanks

This may only apply to my installation of Chinese distro Deepin, but the consequence is of interest, and the easy way out may be of use to someone who is stuck.
Deepin is a Debian>ubuntu development, so far as I can tell.
Consistently, when I run bleachbit (as root) from the Deepin launch panel, the scan phase has eventually greyed out the panel & bleachbit has stopped responding.
I should add that this is without the free_space option (though I do wonder if process time-out is set too low)
Non-root bleachbit is fine.

Hi,
Occurred to me the labels used on toolbar, Preview & Clean don't match the warning pop up that asks if
you really want to "delete" or cancel.
Not a big deal, but confused me at 1st glance a couple of times, or after not using BB for a long time. I've rarely seen options Delete & Cancel on the same window.
Shouldn't the titles for same function on toolbar & popup be the same?
Since the app name is bleachbit, buttons to start cleaning action could be labeled "Bleach," Bleach It," "Bleach Now," "Bleach Away," etc.

Hi,
I downloaded BleachBit and tried to install it on openSUSE 11.4 (I know there is openSUSE 12 now, but I have some software which run only on 11) and I got the error "[PK_TMP_DIR|dir:///var/tmp/TmpDir.DL12Kn] Repository already exists.". Is there any package to fix this and where can I download it from? I guessed this was an error related to python as I read something about this on forum and a .rpm package to fix it but I couldn't find it.
Thanks for your time

Installed bleachbit the other day, just noticed that after all the times I've used it, that it hasn't been working! My firefox is showing every single site I've been on and everything I've downloaded. Can you help this to work please. I'm running a version of Ubuntu called Backtrack 5 R2. I downloaded the latest Bleachbit 0.9.2 from source as the respositories are ancient. (# Just checked : Ancient 0.7.? version of Bleachbit isn't working as well) Firefox retains logs and jeopardises privacy.
Any help to sort this out would be MASSIVELY appreciated!

Didn't receive notification for a recent reply to one of my posts. Checked my settings & have "receive replies" (or the equivalent) checked & my email is correct. Checked & the reply wasn't filtered as spam on the server. I assume this is more a sourceforge thing than BB. I've had intermittent problems getting replies for yrs, on sourceforge.
If I contact sourceforge support, they usually say they show the reply went out, but it never hits my mail server. Then I usually start receiving replies again- for a while.
Thanks.

Hello!
I have been using Fedora (Release 15 Lovelock) for awhile now and recall seeing a version of Bleachbit which had an option to run as an "administrator"...all I am able to download now (using Fedora's software update features) is the standard "per user" version...no "admin" option.
Do you still offer this capability in a Linux version? One of the older versions?
Thanks!
