When I configure BleachBit2.0 to load winapp2.ini, cleaners from both winapp2.ini and cleanerML appears in the left pane.
1. Which one should I choose for the same app(internet explorer)? which one is better?
2. systems(cleanerML) or Windows(winapp2.ini) which is better? or both?
i have placed BleachBit portable on a separate partition than the WinXP C: drive if that makes any difference(?)
in any case in version 0.9.5 its not fetching the Winapp2.ini file for some reason (perhaps not checking for updates either)
i get this error:
Error when checking for updates:
(even tho my internet connection is working (streaming a radio staion right now) and i'm not currently using any host files or peerblock type program.)
In Windows 8 Under "Deep Scan" checking off Backup Files to be cleaned causes a hang with Previewing & Cleaning
tested under Win8 64bit, Win7 32bit and win xp 32bit,
Entries in Winapp2.ini with DetectOS=6.2| aren't shown
Also a suggestion to have custom LangSecRef='s in winapp2 be recognized
edit: Tested under windows xp. With XP it hangs Thumbs.db under deepscan
I always use BleachBit latest stable version. I have never had a problem with it. My system was always perfect stable. First thank you for that :)
But now I see there are many new additional applications coming with Winapp2.ini. But I need to ask if it is stable. I know the "stability" is relative. So at least please tell me your experiences about Winapp2.ini and what you are thinking for...
When I download winapp2.ini in bleachbit 0.93 and come to restart the program bleachbit hangs when starting, there is high cpu usage and bleachbit appears in the task manager but will not start up.
Here is the bleachbit log:

Hiya, Robert Ward here again. Since the last time I posted, the location of Winapp2.ini (as I produce it) has been relocated from my dropbox to https://www.winapp2.com/Winapp2.ini
Your documentation still lists the dropbox link, so I was hoping you could change it to the new link. Thanks!
I recently noticed that BleachBit supports the file Winapp2.ini, which is delightful. The support page for winapp2.ini on your website, however, links to an old version of the file.
