I wanted to translate the software interface without using the launchpad and I tried to do it directly by manipulating the source code. I tried to translate the for example APT part and it's sub domains in the apt.xml file and run the program after changes the following error comes up :
info: remembering CleanerML file '/home/mandbigs/Desktop/bleachBit/bleachbit-1.0/cleaners/apt.xml'
and all my modifications discarded and the interface does not change .
I need to translate the software into persian . can someone help me with this ?
I've just finished completely translating BleachBit to Punjabi (pa-IN) offline but I do not see any option to select language in the UI. I have two questions:
1) How would I go about testing it without any such option? I don't really wanna mess with my Regional settings.
2) After testing is done, whom should I contact or where should I upload the PO?
I have my operating system in English, my keyboard is set up to Hungarian. I downloaded BleachBit portable and I got the Hungarian version which I dont want, I see no way of changing this to English, I am assuming it is taking the language settings from my keyboard as all the rest is in English.
I think users should have an easy way to decide in what language BleachBit interface should be regardless of their keyboard settings.
I also do not see a way of setting up how many times data is overwritten. Notice, this is the PORTABLE BleachBit being used in Windows.
