BB wont open as administrator from applications menu after update to 2.0

Linux Mint 17.2. Updated to 2.0 and now BB as administrator wont open from applications menu. Regular works fine though.

BleachBit 2.0 switched to using policykit (also called polkit) to launch as root. Linux Mint 17.2 is based on Ubuntu 14.04, and they should both support policykit, which is not a new technology.

Do you get an error message, or does it silently fail to launch?

Until we get this figured out, you can try one of these commands

sudo bleachbit
su-to-root -X -c bleachbit

BB silently fails to open. 'su-to-root -X -c bleachbit' works but it would be nice to open from the menu.
