Arch Linux 64 bit Gnome Install from source
Hi.
Bleachbit 0.7.2 compiles well on my ArchLinux 64bit Gnome system without problems.
1. Which directory is best to move the folder (bleachbit-0.7.2) after building ?
a. /opt/bleachbit-0.7.2
b. /usr/local/bleachbit-0.7.2
I'm not certain but isn't the correct folder to move: /bleachbit-0.7.2/bleachbit ?
Also, I is there any functional difference between running
'python bleachbit.py' or 'python GUI.py'
Thank you.

installation on Arch Linux
I run BleachBit from /home/username/bleachbit/ (I run it without installing it) and for most Linux distro's install to /usr/share/bleachbit/, so unless you notice an obvious problem, the installation path is up to you. To run the installer run 'make install' .
If you do not use the command line interface (cleaning from the command line), then it does not matter.
By the way, Arch Linux ships BleachBit in Arch Linux's repository, so you may want to use that instead of downloading source tarballs from my site.

Thank you.
There isn't a bleachbit available in the standard supported repositories (core, community, extra) , only
the unsupported users' AUR repository.
Problem: I use PACO (http://sourceforge.net/projects/paco) which creates a log in /var/log/paco/paco-2.0.7
Bleachbit run as root deletes all the system logs.
Is there a way I can 'Stop' bleachbit from erasing "All" system rotated logs, and erase only the ones I want,
while preserving my choices?
Best regards,
Justin

Whitelisting
In BleachBit 0.7.3 you can extend the syslog cleaner (found in the BleachBit bonus pack). In some future version, BleachBit will offer whitelisting ("delete everything except X").
