bleachbit deleted windows

What settings must I have chosen to basically delete all my windows files so that it won't load anymore?

And BEFORE shutting the computer down and finding that out is there any way to check my system to see that I have not hosed it?

Is there a way to reverse or undelete files that have been purged this way?
