I try repeatedly to re-install BB after it vanished, but when I click the icon I get an error notice. Although it gives an address for the error log I have been unable to find it. How do I get BB (English version) back?

Did you look for this error
Did you look for this error log ? Were you able to at least find this folder? Is the error notice to look for this log, or is there more information?
c:\program files (x86\bleachbit\bleachbit.exe.logAre you using BleachBit version 1.12, 1.17, or some other version?

I apologise for taking so
I apologise for taking so long to respond. I am now trying again to install the latest version of Bleach Bit but when I click the icon I repeatedly get: MSVCRL.dll not found --- after I download again (on Windows 10 Creators).

By latest version, do you mean BleachBit 1.12 or 1.19? I suggest 1.19 because the installer was updated from NSIS version 2 to NSIS version 3, and maybe this would help you.

Try temporarily disabling any antivirus or security software that may be blocking the installer. (For security reasons, always be sure to download BleachBit from this site.)
