5.0.2 English Release is BS

I've tried to install this version several time and it always installs as some foreign version. How can I install it as an English version. I've uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller and deleted all left overs. Then used regedit to clean up the registry however, every time it installs as a foreign langage.

Yes, it does. I looked in the file system and there is no \share\locale file to delete.

I tried the 5.0.0.2974 English version and it is working. Do I just stay with version until there is a new BleachBit version release? Thanks I appreciate the reply and fix.

I'm glad to hear it is working. For now,yes, stick with this release.

A problem, however, is that I can find only way to reproduce this issue on my system, and it does not explain why all users are having the issue. I don't have a great solution yet for the upcoming release (5.2.0), but perhaps we can find out why it affects your system.

Have you done any of these?

1 Used Winaero Tweaker

2 Changed your Windows system font another way like editing the registry

3 Installed the font Fira Code NF

4 Set up any font substitutions, specially for Segoe UI (default system font on Windows)

In case these do not sound familiar, that is okay: most Windows users probably haven't done any of these.
