Winapp2.ini v1.0.121126

Forums:

Hello folks.

Today's update is most likely going to destroy BleachBit's parser, as I've switched to semicolon delimited filekeys, example:

It makes recursive cleaning faster for CCleaner and shrinks the over-all size of the file.

For the time being, I've backed up the previous version here: http://winapp2.com/bb/Winapp2.ini incase the newest version breaks BleachBit.

Sorry for any trouble, and I hope it's possible to include this in your parser if it's not already.

Take care,
Robert Ward

Thank you for the note.

It was too late for the 0.9.4 release, but I filed it as bug 1091423 and will work on it for the next release.

BTW, inside the BleachBit application users can subscribe to winapp2.ini updates, and this uses a mirrored copy, so until the new format is supported and tested, I will make sure the mirror keeps the older version, which is still very useful.

BleachBit version 0.9.4 does not support the semicolons syntax, and BleachBit 0.9.5 does. I am also adding a few other compatibility fixes for Winapp2.ini.

BleachBit 0.9.5 beta may be available soon.

Thanks again for the notice
