Please test BleachBit 3.1 beta. This is a maintenance release to fix bugs in BleachBit 3.0 (final).
Like BleachBit 3.0, BleachBit 3.1 requires Python 2. (For Microsoft Windows, the Python runtime is installed automatically, as always.) Once beta testing is done, BleachBit 3.1 will be released as BleachBit 3.2 final.
In a separate branch, much progress has been made for BleachBit to run on Python 3. While these changes are not in the BleachBit 3.x series, watch for a release soon after Bleachbit 3.2.
We are pleased to announce BleachBit 3.0. The latest release brings major improvements to the user interface, speed, cleaning thoroughness, and application reliability.
We are pleased to announce BleachBit 2.2. The latest release brings major improvements to startup speed, cleaning Google Chrome and Firefox, Winapp2.ini support, and more.
As you read the news headlines, you see there has been another massive data breach with millions of accounts exposed. What can you do to avoid identity theft? Besides having strong, unique passwords, consider freezing your credit reports from the three major credit bureaus. You can do the whole process online, and it takes about 5-10 minutes per bureau.
We are pleased to announce BleachBit 2.0, one large step for open source system cleaning software.
The latest release brings major improvements to infrastructure, security, stability, and the framework.
