Is there a cleaner that's supposed to clean the "Recently Used Documents" folder in Windows XP? I would have thought the Windows Explorer cleaner would but it doesn't.
The directory is: C:\Documents and Settings\\Recent
Thanks

Recent documents/ Windows XP
That path you wrote is missing the middle part, but that looks like a Vista path. BleachBit 0.8.7 - Windows Explorer - Recent Documents cleans $APPDATA\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\*.lnk, but that's for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
For Windows XP, the same option cleans the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RecentDocs. I just tried this key on my Windows XP SP3, and it erased the My Recent Documents in the start menu. There are entries for each file type, so they probably show up in more places too.

Arg ... my original posting
Arg ... my original posting got mangled...the directory path is:
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Recent
When I run BB to clean the Windows Explorer, this directory does not get emptied and START->Documents does not get cleared. If I deleted the files from the directory myself, then the START->Documents is cleared too.
