"python-scandir" not satisfied...LinuxLite 3.8

i've treid to update from version 2.2 to ver. 3.0 and get this error:
"Dependency is not satisfiable: python-scan-dir".
how do i fix this? is it fixable? i've tried the repository, only version 2.2 is availible.

LinuxLite 3.8/ubuntu 16.04 lts

Sorry, this is a known issue

Sorry, this is a known issue documented in the release notes. There is a link there to a temporary pre-release package that omits the dependency for Ubuntu 16.04.
