How come BleachBit can't even clear Firefox 3.6.3 history complete?

Forums:

I use Fedora 12. I tried your latest BleachBit but it can not clear the Firefox 3.6.3 history completely. Everytime I go to URL window to start typing, it displays all the previous URL's I've visited...

At home I run Fedora 13 with Firefox 3.6.4, and it works here with BleachBit version 0.8.0. In BleachBit, which options do you select? Does BleachBit show any errors (in red)? Which version of BleachBit? Do you get BleachBit from http://bleachbit.sourceforge.net or from the Fedora repository?

I know that with the Firefox 3.6.x series, BleachBit does not always *completely* clear Firefox's history. If I use Firefox normally, accumulate some browsing history, and then run BleachBit (even multiple times), there will still be some history entries leftover. To clear them, I need to use Firefox's built-in "Clear Recent History" tool. I'm thinking this might be an issue with how BleachBit handles the SQLite database files that Firefox 3.6.x uses?

I just tested again with Fedora 13, Firefox 3.6.10, and BleachBit 0.8.1 alpha. It clears the history just fine (even defeating the allegedly stubborn "evercookie"). If you still have this problem, make sure you are on BleachBit 0.8.0 and answer the questions in my other post in this thread. Thanks
