The vacuum ones are vacuuming chrome (as well as FireFox if you have it) to shrink files down and speed up web browsing. The .ini files for VLC deletes sensitive information within documents to protect privacy. It shouldn't do any harm to VLC itself. The other stuff is just cleaning stuff like MYSQL, local state, etc.

Hope this helps. By the way, Hi Galloway, wasn't aware you used BleachBit.

What data lines in the VLC INI files is BB removing? Is vacuming of FF similar to "compress databases" in CC? I also have System Ninja....

Thank you, Alex.

By the way, Vacuuming does not delete information as far as the application is concerned. Other than maybe a speed boost, information will not be removed from the web browser. In this way, vacuuming is similar to defragmenting a hard drive.

@Galloway: Anything that is sensitive. I can't really say what exactly is being deleted. Best way to determine this is create a backup of the file before cleaning it, then compare it with the one before and after to see what exactly is being deleted. As I said, it shouldn't do any harm.
