Winapp2 updates

Forums:

I decided to create this topic for a reminder of upcoming winapp2 updates for BleachBit. Please do not reply to this topic. This is a winapp2 reminder for Andrew, the winapp2 copy for the community will be available within a few days after each reminder.

Winapp2 update: Dated October 26th, 2013: Tests successful and ready to be deployed.

Note from Andrew: In summary, the upstream Winapp2.ini is updated once a month. Shortly after upstream publishes an update, BleachBit publishes its own Winapp2.ini update, which is available directly through BleachBit by enabling updates.

I never got the Winapp2 update. The up-to-date one says 5.09 but the BleachBit one says 5.08. Auto update is on and everything.

Forgot about this...

Winapp2 update:Dated September 25th, 2015: 1 removed entry due to CCleaner.

Also, how come I haven't ever been credited for managing Winapp2 entries for BleachBit. I feel so... heartbroken, haha.

Winapp2 update: Dated December 21st, 2015: 2 removed entries due to CCleaner.

Note1: I am sorry this came in a little late. I recently got into a very bad accident and I lost my right leg. I will still try to do my duties here at BleachBit, but you may notice me inactive every now and then.

Note2: This release, you will notice a lot of removed entries. The Winapp2 team did a clean up and removed all entries that effected registry backups. If anyone really needs these, I can make a custom copy of these entries and re-add them back for you. Just leave a comment if you do.

ROCKNROLLKID, I am deeply sad to hear about your accident and your leg.

Thank you for this update and your many other contributions, and I understand that you may not be available like you were before.

Thank you. I pushed out the February update, and I did extra testing because this was impacted by the recent change in web servers and a change I made in GitHub (moving the repository to the bleachbit organization). It seems OK.

Just for the record, there was a Winapp2 update done yesterday. The update was posted on Winapp2's homepage, however the changelog file was not rolled over and they didn't update it at Piriform, either.

There was a Winapp2 update posted yesterday. He didn't post it on his website though, but you can grab the copy from here: https://forum.piriform.com/index.php?showtopic=32310&page=1

He didn't post a change log either, so I don't know what got removed for whatever reason. I figured since BleachBit's Winapp2 hasn't been updated in awhile, maybe grab this copy and port it over while we wait for his GitHub page to be completed.
