Test results for BleachBit 1.3beta

Forums:

Operating system Windows 7 64-bit ultimate SP1. All latest updates installed.

BleachBit 1.3 beta with pass wipe enabled and latest Winapp2.

- Firefox is cleaning thoroughly and no errors popped-up.
- I don't use Google Chrome, but a friend of mine reported to me that it is cleaning successfully and no errors on his side. I can test it out myself when i return from vacation
- Adobe Reader is cleaning successfully.
- Path directories for detect under program files (64-bit) are showing up and cleaning successfully. Tested with Peerblock and Performance Maintainer under 64-bit.
- Wildcards are being detected and cleaned successfully.

I haven't gotten around with the free space wiper, yet. When I return from vacation on the 18th, 19th, or 20th (not sure when exactly) I will test it out.

I don't use GIMP 2.8 or Liferea, but I can install them and test it out when I return from vacation.

Thank you for the good news.

Free space wiping has not changed since BleachBit 1.2, so it "should" work just as well as before :)

The free space wiper is working like it should, as you said. Keep up the good work. Best of luck to you and anyone else working on BleachBit.

Installed 1.4 stable over existing 1.3 beta. No issues occurred. Same results as 1.3 beta.

Thank you for testing.

By the way, I am considering putting out 1.5 soon to fix just two issues noted in the release notes.

Maybe you could just make it a 1.4.2 version instead so you don't have to use a whole version for it. Just my opinion.
