BleachBit 2.0 and TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen2?
I had been using the previous version of BleachBit for about six months without any problem, and using it to wipe my PC at least once a week. Last week I upgraded to version 2.0, and since then Avira Antivirus Free has been pitching a fit about 'TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen2', and wanting to quarantine three items which appear to be related to BleachBit (although Google search claims TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen2 is some sort of trojan). I'm on Windows XP Pro. Has anyone else had this happen? Not quite sure how to handle this. If it really is trojan malware then I obviously need to eradicate it. On the other hand, if its a part of BleachBit (a 'false-positive'), and I allow Avira to quarantine it, I assume that will screw up BleachBit. Guess I could use some advice on how to proceed.

First, make sure your
First, make sure your BleachBit files are authentic. Always download only from this site (www.bleachbit.org), and when installing check the digital signature.
Second, which file exactly is detected? Is it bleachbit.exe? Lately I have been more careful to check for false positives by scanning many files with virustotal.com (list of false positives), and I have not seen any problems with Avira.
