Just installed BB 2.0 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and each time I use it, I get the following error message:
C:\Program Files (x86)\BleachBit\library.zip\bleachbit\GUI.py:875: GtkWarning: Failed to install clipboard viewer

To be clear, i am using a fresh portable version of BleachBit 2.0. But this started happening with my usual BleachBit 2.0 that I use, just with different options ticked. I tried a fresh copy to check if it was some option i had selected or just a corrupted .ini file.

Is the "/S", silent switch the only option for the Windows install? I'm looking specifically for an option to not add a desktop icon. (I am looking to avoid removing the icon after-the-fact.)

Hi to all, I am new to this forum, and also to Bleachbit.
My goal is to automate the deployment on large number of machines (usually I make scripts in AutoIT)
My questions:
1)How to install Bleachbit with with the option to download winapp2.ini already checked ?
2) Or in alternative: can I run Bleachbit pointing to a winapp2.ini on a shared folder and use it ? (also because I have machines not browsing the internet...)

Is there an bootable ISO available for BleachBit that can format/wipe hard drives like Darik's Boot and Nuke (DBAN)? Is there a format/wipe feature within BleachBit to completely erase hard drives within Linux, Windows, etc?

This post is going to be long and I am not even sure if I should ask it here. But I guess I will try my luck here.

I an trying to setup to run Bleachbit automatically when users start up their computers. These computers are all Windows 10. I have made a simple script and deploy it through Group Policy

I've been using bleachbit for the first time. I must of checked all "System" checkboxes, of coruse i did come across the warning pop up boxes but they were cool with me as long as it doesnt damage the boot or system files, i proceeded with cleaning which took almost 20mins (thats normal). After the clean up i rebooted my system and suddenly i come across a boot error 0xc000000f boot section is inaccessible and boot\bcd, missing or corrupt , luckily i had the windows recovery disk tool. I used the recovery tool to try to fix the boot problem but no luck.

In Windows 10 I run a bleachbit job each night for each user. Windows scheduler initiates a bat file with the user credentials.

My main user is always logged in on the machine. I access the machine through remote desktop on various android devices, sometimes a TV set, sometimes an android TV PC connected to a monitor. When finished I never log out, but disconnect the remote desktop session.

Because of the file layout Windows and Linux are very different.
Could we have a specific windows forum?

I am OK with both OS but I think some might get confused with the same pot.

About two weeks ago, Bleachbit started throwing up the above errors everytime I used it.

Tried to report as a bug to it's website but kept getting routed to Ubuntu for some insane reason. I am currnetly using Bleachbit in both Debian and Windows 7 and am quite happy with it, apart from these three errors?. This problem is occuring in Windows 7.
